Bits from the day

The day started with blustery winds and weather predicting snow maybe even tomorrow - maybe even near us!
No one wanted to dress themselves. But after getting everyone ready, the presents were brought out.
Kai happily reads her card from Bethany (now living back in Texas) -she got a beautiful necklace and lovely photo of Bethany. You are looking so grown up Bethany!
They also sent us another copy of their Dad's album - it was stolen with our van some months ago!
May the thieves enjoy the music and come to faith!
Kai, who enjoys good food, wanted her favourite "chicken pie"
and so we had that for lunch. I did my best, but next time better....

The Maayan's and Travis's came over, lots of kids and cake

of course. There were no strawberries in the shop (tradition for Kai's bday) but she got the chocolate, caramel and cream!
And Naamah, who is now 3 months, enjoying attention and loving to smile when you speak to her.
Kai got some chocolate from Tess, not even one hour after present opening time Amitai came into the kitchen where Kai and I were cooking. He had chocolate smeared all over his face, and a wad of chocolate in his hands. His eyes were sparkling and he had a naughty "I dare you" look as he quite happily approached us with his crime!
