Her family have 6 kids and so far our pattern is the same as theirs, 3 girls, boy and girl. Their 6th a boy. Their 2nd eldest like Tess (our 2nd) also wore an eye patch as a child and had glasses like Tess for wandering eye! Uncanny!
Kai got on so well with her and they both like musicals (their family even named Liesel after Liesel in sound of music..... Kai would chat away about her favourite songs, happy to find someone to share her interests with.

My new special, chelsea buns. Delicious and so easy to make.
I used lots of brown sugar and even dried cranberries for the filling.
It didn't move for ages, then we realised it was guarding while the rest of the Ibex were nibbling on some one's trees.

We all watched in anticipation!
It was fun having Gigi, and after she returned to Jerusalem - the house was quiet and empty without her smile and giggles. The last morning Kai took her for a walk down the Serpentine road. Kai will no doubt write about that in her blog.
