South Africa

Going to be getting some posts in order, so forgive the backtracking!
Well.... we started our journey to South Africa on 23rd September 2009... We had just celebrated Rosh HaShana at the kibbutz, got the house ready for the sitters and of course baby Moriyah just 6 weeks old....
Waiting at the airport, we found in the children's area a scene we could relate too! Camels and desert...
The flight was OK... wont go into that but to say that EL AL-SOUTH AFRICA is terrible. The airplane itself it hopeless and they mixed our seats - so if we had stuck to them we would have had some littlies sitting next to strangers...
We passed it all and created a bit of a stir with the family size, especially with the Africans. What is this white lady doing with so many kiddies? Mpabene
We had to stand under a temperature sensor before getting into JHB, to test for swine flu!
Soon though we were on our way to Cape Town, and expecting only Dad.... we were so surprised to find Taryn and her beautiful 4 awaiting, gifts, drawings and all!

So lovely to see the cousins all excited and interacting already!

And such a blessing to hug in person.

No more cyber sister, for a while anyway....
So we said goodbye till the next day to the Hayes fam, and Dad whisked us off to Onrus, to the summer cottage, where Mom was waiting in joy and excitement (no pics unfortunately)
The sea, the familiar smell of sea weed, ocean and fynbos.... ahhhhhh

What a place, what a view. Its been in my life since I was born, this spot. It is one spot I LOVE more than anywhere. We were to spend a good deal of the holiday there.
