Shabbat worship

Last Shabbat we had a lunch and some worship at Margaret and Shija (our Tanzanian couple). Once again Jeysu (Indian) made a wonderful chicken curry. The real thing! I made some mince with spices from Cape Town and that was well liked by Jeysu and the others from Africa. They all like spicy food! The Tanzanians make a kind of thick pancake, perfect for scooping up spicy sauces.

Later we sang and as you can see in the pics, had a lot of fun!

It still blesses me so much to be in this small fellowship with such a diversity of cultures.
We implement many early church ways. Like using money from the storehouse (our collection/tithes) for sacks of flour, where all the can woman take and make their own bread. Sharing and giving away extra clothes, using the storehouse for each others needs. Now Yaron gave his old car to the Kehila to be pooled and used. Baruch is using the storehouse money to get it licensed and tested again.
Meeting together regulary and visiting one another also helps build relationships.

And here is a pic of us later, leaving for Ezuz to visit friends who lived there. Now we can all travel together again as a family in our landy!

so glad that you've got your landy at last! It's lovely and it's great that you can travel together again. Does it have a radio tape/cd - if you have an MP3 one you should really download stories from those websites I sent you for the kids to listen to!
