Sept/Oct Visit Grandparents

We are privileged to have my parents visit at least every 2 years, and each time we are blessed and we get to do some fun things together. Mom and Dad had the guest flat to escape too when things got to loud - which they often do. They spent their first week at the feast of Tabernacles and the last 3 with us.

They brought a bit of Africa with them. Na'amah was afraid if this cute lion at first

They stayed at Sari and Adam's initially.

The younger children made sure that they got there on time in the morning - but not before they had some time to wake up!

Na'amah took to Grandpa right away and wouldnt leave his side.

They got to babysit them too! This old wagon was what we pushed Kai and Tess around in, the kibbutz way back when!

We even managed to leave Moriyah with them for 2 whole days while Yaron and I escaped to Eilat.

And we had a lot of birthdays, Hila, Tess and Na'amah.

This is 20 meters from our house, the Ibex come in to eat the grass - esp late Summer/Autumn.

We did some pottery scavenging in the valley This is one great pic in full size.

Rummikub was a hit. Good gift Granny.

We also spent some time in the tent, which was left up over Sukkot. Mom and Mary enjoy a meal, bedouin style and Mike's delicous homemade beer.

And of course there were LOTS of other things but these are just a few of the moments. The other big even was Tess's Batmitzva - but that is another post.
