Little and Big blessings

The biggest blessing was celebrating 14 years of marriage to my hubbie.
  • Who, I love even more than when I first met him,
  • Works so hard to support his family
  • Is growing in faith despite hardships
  • and loves me still!

The girls made sure we were blessed. Tess, the main force behind the day. She actually planned it months before, scrapping together the odd shekel she found so that she could afford to buy us some chocolates! Hila who earned 10 shekels for her first tooth that fell out, spent it all on flowers for us! Oh my! Our hearts were so touched!

Tess who is busy conquering PhotoShop, made us a lovely card.

Hila made us a card and envelope and Kai (not pictured) wrote us a sweet letter and gave us a verse from the Bible about LOVE. Real love.

SONLIGHT, the homeschool curriculum we follow now, has blessed us with little exciting titbits, like this book on Origami - because they are busy with Japan and China.
What fun we had, me included! Folding all sorts of shapes.
I was reminded of my granny, who used to fold paper boats from her silver cigarette box paper!
Esp, when we were out at Sunday lunch!
And another blessing, was this precious German family from Dresden, who stayed 2 nights in our guest house.
We had supper together on Motzei Shabbat night and lots of fun!
Benedict, the young man is to marry Rebecca, in October. Benedicts parents and other brothers stayed in our house over Rosh HaShana last year. They were such a great family. It was good to meet Benedict and some of Rebecca's family.

and.... Kai already posted on her blog about Eilat, we had fun, a day out just our family.
(if you want to read her blog, email me and I will add you)

Fun watching Na'amah venture into the water for the first time.

Tessie, Kai and Lallie, You girls are very very 'special' daughters! The way you planned the surprise for Dad and Mums 14th Wedding anniversary. How you took your hard saved earnings to buy flowers Lallie! Tessie you designed a beautiful card and spent your savings on buying chocolates for dad and mum! Kai for writing a lovely letter to dad and mum and including a bible verse on 'Love'. You have demonstrated just what Yeshua said "A new commandment I give to you is to love one another as I have loved you'. You have demonstrated 'love' for dad and mum by your sacrifical giving and the effort you made to bless them on the 27th Feb. We are so proud of you girls! :) Love you so much, Grandpa and Granny XXX

That's neat, my younger brother is doing the same book as your family. (Easy Origami)

It's nice to hear y'all get along so well. A family that knows the importance of love and peace are ahead in this world.

Happy Anniversary Yaron and Kelly! Many blessings to you and many more years also.

Proud of the girls to do all of that. That shows unselfish love. Y'all are obviously good parents and are much loved and appreciated. :-)
